Cold weather treats

Our Belted Galloways are a hardy, traditional breed that can stay out throughout the winter. They are so fat after the summer, having enjoyed the rich high pasture, which has an amazing bio-diversity of grasses, that they don't need feeding any supplements over the winter.. On hard, frosty days we like to give them some of the wrinkled apples we've stored from the orchard in the summer and some cow pellets. Everyone deserves a treat in this cold weather!
