What Activities are open?
We have put together some information about activities available after lock down. We will try to update this regularly but please check with individual businesses about opening times etc. as our information may not be up to date as things are changing very fast. You will also probably need to book in advance. Please let us know if you have anything to recommend and we will share! There is probably loads more!!
Walking and biking:
There are a great range of walks and bike rides from your pod. We will put details of some of our favourites on our website. We recommend that you carry hand sanitiser as you will need to open shared gates. Weather and temperatures can change very fast and we recommend that you go out equipped with extra layers, waterproof and strong shoes even when it looks a perfect sunny day. On a hot day carry plenty of water and sun cream.
If you are exploring outside the valley, check https://www.lakedistrict.gov.uk/visiting/car-park-status for the latest advice on car parking. It could get very busy and it is a good idea to have a few options. Starting early is always a good plan!
