We stayed in the White Howe (dog friendly) pod. You would have never had known that it had been used by other doggos before, it was amazingly clean. The location was great, lots of nice little walks at your doorstep. This was ideal for our family walks and evening strolls. Having a toddler and young baby, I was at ease letting my little one run round as the field is secure and safe. The pod itself was fantastic, everything you need in the one space. We didn't expect to receive 4G but we were able to get reception. Overall our experience was brilliant, we will definitely be back. Thank you to George for keeping us updated with relevant information.

in the Froswick pod. Really comfortable and great amenities for a short break. The views were stunning from the moment we stepped out of the pod, with such a peaceful atmosphere and surroundings. Using the fire pit provided was an enjoyable extra, once the sun had gone down too. We would happily return for another stay!

My wife, kids and I visit every year. We absolutely love this place. The location is stunning and relaxing and the kids have a great time exploring. My fiancé and I stayed here for a weekend getaway and had such a lovely time! The pods are perfect and have everything that you may need. There was a kitchen area that was well stocked with everything that you could need (cutlery, plates, glasses) and a bed with a thick duvet on. There was a very clean bathroom, with a good shower and plenty of hot water.

We stayed in Mickle Moss and loved how warm, cosy and clean the pod was. We had everything we needed and never got cold once! There are some lovely walks situated around the farm and we enjoyed visiting Staveley and Kendal. The local chippy was delicious and we also enjoyed the pub and brewery, there are lots to do for both adults and kids, Windermere isn’t far away and there is also an aquarium. As there isn’t any signal in the pods it was a welcome break from social media and technology (although if you need signal you can catch it nearby don’t worry). We really enjoyed the experience and would highly recomend! We will be returning in the future and will be recommending to friends.

Lovely Cosy Pod ★★★★★

Me and my friend stayed in White Howe pod and it was such a lovely cosy pod, there was plenty of space for the both of us, with a double bed and a sofa bed. One thing I loved about the pod was how clean it was, it couldn't of been cleaner. It had everything you needed…  There's plenty around the area of the pods, was around a 15 minute drive to Windermere and Ambleside which was perfect for us, which has plenty of shops if you needed to grab bits and pieces. The local Staveley fish and chip shop was also really nice. If you want somewhere really quiet and remote with views this is the place to go.

Lovely Pods in a fantastic location ★★★★★

We had a lovely stay in White Howe pod with our dog Juno. There were soggy days and there were sunny days! The pod was really quite spacious with storage space under the bed for bags. We hired a fire pit which was lovely - plenty of seating outside the pods as well as inside (benches or comfy sofas 😉). Great walks (of varying lengths) all directly from the pod so hardly any need for the car at all - perfect! These are all in the info pack you get in the pod with directions and pictures.

The views are stunning and facilities inside the pod exceeded our expectations. We hired a fire pit and sat outside to admire a night sky. It was magical experience. Kentmere will be on our list from now on to visit at least once a year. I would highly recommend a walk to Kentmere Reservoir. One of my favorite places in Lake District from now. The pods are so cosy and the views from them are stunning. The pods are well equipped and you have everything you need to have a really enjoyable holiday. I would recommend hiring a fire pit to enjoy the chilly evenings outdoors whilst toasting marshmallows, lovely. The owner, Georgina is really helpful, accommodating and very friendly. It is easy to walk into town and there are lots of lovely local walks. We will definitely be staying again.

It's mine and my partners third time staying at Kentmere Farm pods and we're already looking to book again!  The location is stunning, the pod is immaculate and wonderfully designed and we can find no fault with it.  Unlike with camping there is no compromise you have all the luxury of an apartment, the pod is warm and cozy the shower is great and the bed is super comfortable.  You are spoilt for choice in terms of picturesque walks and bike routes straight from the pod and their is a wonderful binder the owners have put together with loads of detailed walks and helpful info regarding the area, food, history etc.  You are also only a short drive from popular locations such as Bowness, Windermere and Ambleside so it's the perfect base to explore this beautiful part of the world regardless of what kind of holiday you're looking for.  Thankyou both so much could not recommend more highly

The pods are immaculate and the covid precautions in place made us feel safe as well as George making us feel more than welcome. A beautiful location in a secluded spot to get away from the world and relax. I couldn't recommend Kentmere farm pods highly enough. With a 6 month old baby in tow there was enough room for the travel cot, 2 adults and the dog in the pod making the perfect 1st family holiday.

The farm pods were delightful in every single way, they were tucked away in the country but had easy access to the local amenities, including a recommended (and very delicious after a long day walking!) fish and chip shop! Everywhere was very clean and tidy, and the pods had a comfy bed, a hot shower and all kitchenware was supplied. Everything to do with the pod was of very high standard. We had great communication with George, who was helpful in arranging our trip and making sure we were comfortable and everything was to our liking. The area is very dog friendly with superb walking routes directly from the pods and can't wait to go again!

The location of Kentmere Farm pods is truly beautiful and I am ashamed to say we usually bypass it on our way to Langdale/Wasdale...not any more! There are so many lovely low and highland walks from the farm, our car never moved from the car park! It can be hard to get dog friendly accommodation so this was a real find for us! The pods are gorgeous - cosy underfloor heating, plenty of sitting space and superb kitchen and bathroom facilities and a lovely cosy bed! The pod was immaculately clean and had great facilities inside so not much packing to do either! The outside facilities also exceeded our expectations, there is a lovely small table and chairs on the decking and also a patio area with a picnic table if you need more room. This is such a lovely peaceful location, we stayed 3 nights but wish it was longer, we will definitely stay again!

We would highly recommend Kentmere Farm Pods to anyone looking for a break away from the busyness of life and all of its stresses.  The pods are very modern and purpose built, with everything you need to have a cosy time away. When we arrived everything was clean and tidy. The key safe means you can easily access your pods with a code and leave the key in the key safe when you go out exploring making check in and check out simple. I recently stayed at the Kentmere Farm Pods (with our labradoodle Archie) and we absolutely loved it. The pods themselves are really well fitted out with very nice underfloor heating, plenty of space, very comfortable furniture (which was appreciated after days of long walks in the lakes!) The location is great and the local village of Staveley has a very nice chippy that came in handy on our first night. We have just returned from a 2 night stay at Kentmere Farm Pods and it was everything we’d hoped for and more. The location is as beautiful and serene as the site photos suggest and the welcome we received warm, friendly and helpful. The village of Staveley, a picturesque 30 minute walk (with young children in tow!), has a lovely choice of places to eat and drink and the walks from the Pod doorstep were also brilliant. The pod itself was pristine, well thought out and so cosy. The bed was so comfortable it was a disappointment to wake up in my own this morning! We look forward to returning.
