WE ARE OPEN FOR BOOKINGS:
We have vacancies for September and October. July and August are Fully Booked
Special measures on re-opening:
We've been awarded the 'We're Good To Go' Industry Standard mark. This means that our business has followed government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, has a Risk Assessment in place and a process to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.
Kentmere Farm Pods has only four camping pods in a rurally isolated position at a good distance from other dwellings. Mickle Moss and White Howe pods are 5 metres apart, Harter and Froswick are 7 metres apart. Both pairs are 35 metres apart across a field. Shower and toilets are within each pod so there are no shared washing facilities. We provide anti-bacterial soap within the shower /toilet for hand-washing as this is the most effective way of reducing contamination.
We have taken careful precautions to minimise risk. We have blocked out a 24 period between each stay to allow us to carry out a deep clean between bookings, including thoroughly disinfecting hard surfaces. Our sheets are laundered professionally and we sterilise all tea towels and cleaning cloths. We wear gloves and face masks throughout. If you would like more details on the special measures that we taking, please get in touch.
In order to ensure that all our visitors and neighbours feel safe on the farm, we ask all our customers to observe the 2 metre social distancing rule towards anyone not in their party. This is detailed in our Terms and Conditions. Any change to this will be dependant on Government guidelines.

'We recently stayed at the Kentmere Farm Pods (with our labradoodle Archie) and we absolutely loved it. The pods themselves are really well fitted out with very nice underfloor heating, plenty of space, very comfortable furniture (which was appreciated after days of long walks in the lakes!) The location is great and the local village of Staveley has a very nice chippy that came in handy on our first night. The owner was very welcoming and all of the contact before we arrived was great as well as providing a very detailed local guide in the pod.' March 19, Matt Cameron
'We would highly recommend Kentmere Farm Pods to anyone looking for a break away from the busyness of life and all of its stresses. The pods are very modern and purpose built, with everything you need to have a cosy time away. When we arrived everything was clean and tidy. The key safe means you can easily access your pods with a code and leave the key in the key safe when you go out exploring making check in and check out simple. The bed was SO comfortable and we were able to cook up some nice food using the kitchenette. by Jessie March19
'A huge thanks for my stay. I've not been to the Lakes for a long time and loved it. My pod was perfect too - beyond everything I hoped. Thanks for making me feel so relaxed and welcome'. Jason, Derbyshire. Feb 19
We have just returned from a 2 night stay at Kentmere Farm Pods and it was everything we’d hoped for and more. The location is as beautiful and serene as the site photos suggest and the welcome we received warm, friendly and helpful. The village of Staveley, a picturesque 30 minute walk (with young children in tow!), has a lovely choice of places to eat and drink and the walks from the Pod doorstep were also brilliant. The pod itself was pristine, well thought out and so cosy. The bed was so comfortable it was a disappointment to wake up in my own this morning! We look forward to returning. Tasha, Leeds. Feb 19
